Do you have an interest in Prehistory? Are you wondering what it’s like to work in outdoor education?
The Volunteer Education Traineeship is giving 3 participants the opportunity to gain outdoor education experience at Celtic Harmony Camp.
- You will have a logbook and will observe, assist and be observed leading a range of activities from different Stone to Iron Age formal education days.
- Trainees will be briefed on risk assessments, operations procedures, lesson plans and scripts before shadowing an educator.
- You will gain primitive skills, such as friction fire lighting and flint knapping and work with a friendly and passionate team.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have an interest in outdoor education/ heritage/ working outdoors
- Have an enthusiasm to develop a career in the field of outdoor heritage education
- Be a good team player
- Have access to a car due to the rural location of the site
No experience necessary, just enthusiasm for Prehistory and education!
