Volunteering Opportunity 1: Activity Resource/ Props Assistant

The Activity Resource/ Props Assistant with support the Heritage Ranger and Educators in the planning, preparation and development of all educational resources.

The majority of tasks required for this role could be completed whilst seated in an indoor setting.  This position would be well suited to anybody who might support the values and goals of the charity and wish to contribute to the essential running of the charity in a supporting role.

Duration: 1-2 days a week – 10am to 4pm

This is an unpaid volunteer position that would be suitable for college leavers, retirees or anybody who could contribute some time on a regular weekly basis.

Volunteering Opportunity 3: Events Assistant

Are you looking to gain experience and understanding of the events sector?  We are looking for a volunteer to support the charity during the busier portions of our year.  If you are able to assist with catering, hospitality, cleaning and roundhouse dormitory turnover as well as supporting our education team, all within a beautiful woodland environment, then this might be for you.

We are looking for anybody able to offer support during our busier periods.  These would include Samhain week (end of October) as well as the morning of the third Saturday of each month when we run Free volunteering events for families.

Duration: Ad Hoc (Only during event periods)
