Outdoor Learning for the Whole Family!

Journey through the ages of Prehistory with hands-on activities designed to get everyone involved. That’s right parents – you won’t just be watching and accompanying, you’ll be taking part in every activity! With everyone involved, the day is guaranteed to be both educational and fun.

The day has been specifically designed to meet learning points on Key Stage 2 curriculum:

• Changes in Britain from the Stone Age to the Iron Age
• The Roman Empire and its impact on Britain

Work together as a family, learning skills, participating in activities and spending quality time outdoors.

The Day will begin promptly at 10am and finish around 4pm.

• Friction Fire Lighting
• Den Buidling
• Flint Tool Demonstration
• Mammoth Hunt in the Woods
• 3D Archery
• LUNCH (Please bring a packed lunch)
• Headbands and Facepaints
• Pottery
• Drumming
• Trading and Bartering (with access to the gift shop)

All participants in the day will receive a certificate, detailing the Prehistory activities they have conquered!
