Filming at Celtic Harmony
We are delighted to announce the unique outdoor heritage location Celtic Harmony Camp is now available as a shooting location. Just a stone’s throw from London on the A10 or moorgate line to Bayford station, Celtic Harmony is a reconstructed Prehistory settlement located in Brickendon, near Hertford, set in 13 acres of woodland. Established in 1998, it is like stepping back in time to an Iron Age village.
We have six 5m roundhouses, and one 11m diameter chief roundhouse, herb garden, 4 ponds, access for all pathways. As well as a café/lunch room building and the 25m x 20m prehistory centre with Palaeolithic Cave. Set in the centre of the village there is a grass arena mound woodlands situated behind it with a boardwalk and some wooden shelters.
With our thatched round houses and native woodland, Celtic Harmony is a place like no other. For over twenty years, children and visitors have been rediscovering the natural world and traditions of life in ancient Britain on our premises, and it would be an ideal shoot location for productions set in and around stone age and prehistory.
We welcomed the cast and crew of Horrible Histories, to film Horrible Histories: The Movie Rotten Romans please take a look below at some of the photos!
