Inclusive Learning: SEND at Celtic Harmony Camp

A Place for Every Explorer to Thrive

At Celtic Harmony Camp, we believe that the wonders of our prehistoric past and the beauty of the natural world should be accessible to everyone. We are committed to providing a warm, inclusive, and supportive environment for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

We understand that every child is unique. Our 13 acres of ancient woodland offer a tranquil space where students can escape the noise of modern life and reconnect with nature at their own pace.

Tailored Experiences to Suit Every Need

We recognise that a “one size fits all” approach doesn’t work for SEND learners. Whether it is a sensory-friendly schedule, physical accessibility requirements, or specific learning adjustments, we are happy to customise our activities to suit your group.

If a student is not comfortable with a specific task — such as friction fire-lighting or flint knapping — our experienced leaders will adapt the session to ensure they can still participate in a way that feels safe and rewarding.

Building Skills for Life

Through our immersive, “learning through doing” approach, we aim to help every student develop vital life skills. By engaging in collaborative activities and working together to solve prehistoric challenges in a relaxed, outdoor setting, students build social bonds and teamwork.

We encourage everyone to try new skills in a supportive environment, fostering independence and building confidence through a journey of outdoor exploration and discovery.

Plan Your Visit

We respect the individual needs of every visitor and want to ensure your trip is as stress-free as possible. We invite teachers and organisers to speak with us in advance so we can prepare the best possible experience for your students.

“Our goal is for every child to leave the camp feeling inspired, refreshed, and connected to the world around them.”

Contact us today at schools@celticharmony.org to discuss how we can tailor a visit for your group.
