In November we celebrated Samhain, the start of the Celtic new year…

As Samhain has just passed marking the start of the Celtic New Year, it is the perfect time to look back on the
season of events.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our family days out at Celtic Harmony Camp this year. After such a
turbulent few months, It was great to open the doors regularly and offer a safe outdoor space for all ages to meet
with friends, relax, learn about our past and connect with nature.

Looking back to the beginning of the season, when we welcomed the first school trips and families for days out
and roundhouse overnight stays. The word spread and we have our thatched roundhouses have welcomed
over 6,000 school visitors and 5,200 family visitors this year. Support from visitors have motivated us to continue
to open the Prehistory Gates, expand into Roundhouse Overnight Stays and continue to push forward with
developments in The Prehistory Centre (washroom and toilet facilities nearly complete!).

We couldn’t have done this without our amazing team of staff, volunteers and performers so a massive Thank
You to all the team!

This is our first blog post and we hope to make a semi-regular way to keep up to date with the camp if you prefer
not to use social media!

Please see a wonderful gallery below of photographs from our year.
