We are seeking a proactive and organised People Culture and Engagement Coordinator (Part Time) to support our human resources initiatives and foster a positive organisational environment.

This role is between 16 and 20 hours a week and involves assisting with volunteers recruitment, corporate volunteer engagement programmes, managing HR data, and supporting communication efforts across various platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and familiarity with Breathe HR systems. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to organisational culture while developing professional expertise within a dynamic team.

 

Duties

  • Assist in coordinating and recruitment of volunteers
  • Assist in coordinating and promotion of corporate volunteer engagement activities
  • Manage and update HR systems including to ensure accurate employee data entry and record keeping.
  • Support the administration of human resources processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and performance management.
  • Maintain effective communication channels through social media management and internal communication tools.
  • Support data analysis and reporting related to employee engagement feedback.
  • Assist in maintaining social media presence related to organisational culture initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects, including scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, and tracking progress.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes by providing insights and feedback based on data analysis.

 

Experience

  • Prior experience in volunteer coordinating and recruitment is essential
  • Prior experience in human resources or administrative roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Breathe HR system is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across diverse audiences.
  • Experience with data entry, record management, and report generation using HR software tools.
  • Knowledge of social media management for organisational purposes is advantageous.
  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

The ideal candidate will:

  • A minimum of 2 years in Human Resources
  • At least 1 year in Volunteer Management
  • Strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Able to work in a pressured environment.
  • Flexible and able to work as part of a team and individually.
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Own transport as Celtic Harmony Camp is in a rural area

 

Pay: £16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 20.0 per week

Licence: Driving Licence (required)

Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required)
