Samhain Celebrations at Celtic Harmony Camp 2024
In October Samhain Celebrations returned for another year, and they were bigger and better than ever!
We teamed up with Arts in East Herts to give our traditional celebrations a bit of an artistic twist, which was a big hit with visitors!
Activities on offer included:
- NEW! Cave Art Talk in our reconstructed Palaeolithic Cave
- NEW! Decorate a Chalk Art Auroch
- Make your Mini Broom
- Burn your Worries in the Fire
- Explore the Haunted Forest
- Get involved in Drumming Workshops
- Build your own Woodland Shelter
- NEW! Pumpkin Clay Crafts
- Take part in a Samhain Procession
- Listen to a Celtic Story around the Fire
Almost 570 family visitors joined us for these spooky celebrations, enjoying an October half term day out with style!
“The best part of the day was being able to watch our kids just enjoy being outside with others who were there for the same reason. We learnt a lot and really enjoyed the vibe of the centre and the event. The meal was also good, fairly priced and well cooked.” Neil & Kelly 27/10/24
“We loved drumming and the activity stations, it wasn’t overcrowded, it was accessible and there were great staff!” Piek Family, 27/10/24
Thank you to all of the families that joined us this year! Keep your eyes peeled for info about our events in 2025, including the Easter Dragon Quest!
