Volunteer with us as an events assistant this October half term!
Samhain Celebrations run from 27 – 31 October. These family days are packed full of fun activities such as drumming workshops, Besom broom making, fire processions and storytelling.
During these days there is a lot to organise, and it is all hands on deck for staff and volunteers.
Volunteer Events Assistants may be:
- Maintaining the Haunted Woodland
- Supporting staff in the car park
- Meeting and Greeting families at the door
- Helping the team to run activities
- Assisting with cleaning up and resetting at the end of the day
There is an option to dress up in a Celtic costume if you are running activities, or alternatively you can wear a staff uniform.
This volunteer role is ideal for anyone aged 18+ looking to gain experience in events and event management. Your experience might support applications for future study or give you the first step towards a career in events and tourism.
Volunteering hours are available from 9:30 to 16:30 daily from Sunday 27 – Thursday 31 October. You can volunteer as little or as much as you would like, depending on your availability. For any queries please get in touch by emailing david@celticharmony.org.
