Learn to craft your own ‘Beaker’ pot using a hand-building technique to create your own pottery vessel by stacking and joining clay coils used throughout Prehistory. Choose your own style or be inspired by The Beaker culture, a bell-shaped pottery style that appeared in the Bronze Age. Experience the excitement of crafting your pot ready to be fired in a pit fire kiln, the oldest known method for firing pottery.
Suitable for to adults and children aged 11+.
Gio will cook your pot on an open fire, just as they did 3000 years ago. You can collect your fired pottery on your next visit.
